  • "for security reasons. It's been that way since 9/11"

I wonder who wrote this script....

  • I did - apparently you haven't seen too many intelligent 13 year olds in your life. Really - it isn't rocket science. The policewoman said 'for security reasons, it's been that way since 9/11" and I reiterated her statement.

Now am I speaking slowly enough for you?

  • We guess it's obvious that we have been targeted by a bunch of Liberals sitting in their basements (probably in their underwear) who know nothing about National Security. So far the only argument anyone has given is what is heard daily on the news - in other words - general idiocy!

It's funny how most of you have no videos of your own or pictures of yourselves on your pages - a telltale sign of left wing plants making minimum wage to pick on kids.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.tsk tsk

  • -I'm a moderate independent with: -fiscal conservative values -social/ethical liberal values -governmental libertarian values

-and I have a picture (though a very ugly and lame one D:) on my page

    please don't lump us together

    "tsk tsk"? ok...

  • That's why we said 'most' not all.

  • There is no shortage of oil ... they are merely limiting the supply. OPEC is comprised of countries who do not look favourably upon the USA.

  • Pickens plan + drill at home + build nuclear power plants + invest in solar + more = energy independence. Notice i did NOT mention E85 ethynol.(It's bullshit)

  • Great work! If we had started to drill like the Republican's wanted to 4 years we would be basking in the abundance now.

  • Youth for oil. You might as well call your group young idiots. Why continue to pollute the environment when there are cleaner for efficient ways to make energy. Why keep paying the oil companies when we could create and industry around clean energy. An industry that would create new jobs and new technology that we can EXPORT to the rest of the world at a great profit. Your parents are steering you wrong kid. Hopefully in time you will learn to think for yourself.

  • You rock! It really makes me smile to see kids that haven't been brainwashed into the liberal thought train and are actually standing up for valid issue that affect our National Security rather than issues that destroy out National Security!

You should start a non-profit, this way people can donate to your cause!

Keep up the great work - I'm very proud! This is a awesome experience for you and maybe we will see you, in a few years, running for a political office! Best of Luck!

  • Not sure what your point is mate? You suggested he didn't understand the facts, yet he was right and you were unsure.

  • Hello Danvers... it is good to see a reply here... but first you ought to totally read and understand what you are responding to.

  • Of all of those, the key ingredient is an emergency lifting of the bans and encouraging rapid increases in domestic crude oil and natural gas production. Without a significant increase in domestic production any reduction in the SPR is dangerous and should be carefully evaluated.

  • A sane compromise is a measured release of the SPR in return for a lifting of domestic drilling bans. The release/depletion of the SPR could occur over the period until the first oil started to flow, a couple of years. The lifting of the ban, a release of 20%-40%, along with supporting practical alternatives like increasing electric cars, liquefaction of our vast coal deposits, more coal for electricity, would collapse the price to where it was a few years ago, about $21 a barrel.

  • A release of 10% would reduce the SPR to around 52 days, no where near enough in a true emergency. If not combined with other measures the price of oil would rebound and we would have less reserve.

  • Actually he does have his facts straight. The SPR holds just over 701 million barrels of crude oil, enough for about 58 days at total replacement of imported oil. So 10% of that is around 5.8 days. However short of an actual reduction in imports it could be released in smaller quantities, but even that makes this a temporary effect of a few months. And that would also cause a backlash when the release stopped, and overwhelming pressure to resume.

  • Yes it is, and those fools that subscribe to this Godless religion are all LIBERALS!
