@micaslopez123 It's a joke in the Marine Corps to pronounce it like that. If you've ever had an MRE with Jalapeno and Cheese, there's no accent mark over the word "Jalapeno". Therefore, the correct pronunciation of the word on the MRE is "Jah-Lah-Pen-O."
