  • Can you tell us more about the dance? Is this part of a tourist display? When would this dance be performed in traditional conditions?

  • I don't know the name of this exact dance. I was traveling with a dance group from US. We stayed as guests with a local family. They have that house on the rice terrace above the village where they hold their events. They performed for us to show their local dance. That area is really beautiful but it's not frequently visited by tourists.

  • Kila Mr Bawer ba to? I was there in Kalinga in 2004 and stayed in Tinglayan... I was part of the UP Anthropology Field Schoolers... I usually went to Lubuagan to visit my classmates there, and I got to meet Mr Bawer and another Kalinga Dance/Cultural Arts instructor, but I forgot his name... SIla ung nagtuturo sa STS...

  • This is an waesome dance. I have been in Lubuagan 11 years ago. I miss it. I miss the people there. They had been very accomodating to me when i was there. I miss the coffee that was served in every home i visited. Thank you, people of Lubuagan. . . .
