  • I Just meant, it was wonderful to listen to and if there was a way to turn the image 78 rpms it would make you feel like you were live in a parlor in the 30's listening to it! and watching the record turn. It is wonderful, thank you for posting.

  • @bessieSmith

O.K. I understand and I agree with your idea, but unluckily I'm not able to do this trick ! I'm not an experienced software user :o/

Thank you for appreciating jazz music.

  • You would enhance this video a thousand times if you made the 78 spin to 78 rpms, I would love to watch it spin.

  • @bessieSmith

I hope not to misunderstand your meaning. Anyway this record turns exactly at 78 rpm, along with my stroboscope and with the original key of this tune that's "F".

    Thank you for your comment,

  • @LaerdBryn people who've been to Prague tell me theyre very much into the dixie stuff over there

...of course it's gonna lack the mastery of the likes of jack purvis, and tommy dorsey but it's still pretty cool

you'll probably find some if you look around on youtube

  • Is this sound at all present anywhere in today's music world. I know recording techniques affected what was heard, but this sound sure is feel good Dixieland Jazz and it would be great to hear this in the real world. A blast from the past maybe not possible, but a music lover can dream a bit. Thank you for postiong these wonderful vintage recordings.

  • Super version! I just noticed that at 2:54, Rollini re-uses a 'lick' he also played on Collegiate Love with "Cornell and his orchestra" on the 7th of February the same year.

  • Superb Thankyou x

  • That's how we like it! And Rollini is always great. Thanx for this!
