Bangkok has many cheap hotels and guesthouses Thaihouse inn is my favorite. One thing people say is that they have a haed time finding it so i am going to walk you to it from Sukhumvitt Soi 7

the hotels in the area are all over 1000 baht. I know of two and they are very small rooms that you would not want to stay in.

Bangkok is totally safe with a small Caveat stay away from the political stuff that is going on otherwise it is a very safe city Bangkok Dangerous was totally off on their portraying Bangkok like they did.

No but there are people that are bringing guests in with them. It is more of a hotel for guys that have been out to Asia many times and don't need a fancy hotel but a place that provides hot water and AIR CON. You see guys bring there kids there and they seem to stay. Jim has alot of return traffic, .

I like it as it is right on the Sky train. I can get to anywhere in Bangkok really fast I went at 5:30 PM and was on Koh Sahn Rd by 6:15.

why not hire an aprtment for a month around sukhumvit or other place in bangkok near bts for 35-6000 bath a month with AC

I've stayed here lots of times. For its location (and it is an excellent location for the nightlife and for getting around BKK by public transport) it is very cheap. The staff here are very honest and lovely people. Whilst it does need a lick of paint, it is clean and secure. I first stayed here many years ago as a young backpacker. I can easily afford to stay in good hotels now, but when in BKK i always stay here.

yeah its not cheap at all, i go all the time, you can get decent places w a/c tv wifi balcony for like 400 baht a nite easily, and im not even talking really shitty places, you can rent fully serviced apartments for $300 a month easily as well

its a clean but cheap no tv, and really noisey stayed there 3 weeks till we noticed the noise, as we were coming in 5 am and they were still singing shit in the tunnel, dont let the girls that work in the hairdresses there show you around it cost me 3000 baht for a meal,a fucking fortune in thai, they set us up, , crown hotel is a much better place, good tv and they have just had a major refurbishment, even the bar girls say thai house is low class hotel,misrable english owner. cleaner comes 12
