@puccapinguina Singers have to keep their chest 'open' so that the sound can get out! Some singers find it useful to gesture with their hands...others don't. It seems she is most comfortable singing with her arms by her side. That doesn't mean that she isn't singing with any emotion at all!

oh come on! forget susan boyle! this is the real thing! susan in fact gave this play a shame.... good for her it propelled her some place else! get an education! les miserables had been around for decades. and it may just be the best musical there ever was!
