These fouls discussed on CNN: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/best... ***PLEASE READ BELOW:

Discussed on ESPN Radio. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHsTts... (discussed at 2;50 and 34;28)

Since the release of this video, the Washington Officials Association (WOA), the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) and the Connell School District have all done their best to sweep this situation under the rug. The WOA has defended the referees (and their non-calls) in this game. The Connell Athletic Director has publicly supported the actions of his players and coaches. The Connell head coach supports the actions of his players...while the WIAA has done nothing to enforce any sort of punishment for anyone involved. This has been a massive failure on everyone's part and makes it clear that they find these actions acceptable in high school basketball. I receive daily messages from people all over the world who are outraged by this video.

The following are ACTUAL quotes:

"It's getting painted as flagrant or intentional fouls. There were no problems and no fights" ---Dave Pierce, a 30-year veteran of the Tri-Cities (Washington) Sports Officials Association

"My feeling is I bet you could go to 90% of any sporting event that has contact like basketball, football, whatever. You could probably go through any person's game film and pull these same or similar incidents out. This just happened to be a person did that and posted it online" --Steve Frucci, Connell High School Athletic Director sfrucci@nfsd.org

"He's a tough kid (#34), but those that know him know he's a teddy bear"
--Connell head coach Oscar Garza ogarza@nfsd.org

"It goes to show what can happen in today's day and age. Whoever can afford that technology can do anything they want." --Steve Frucci, Connell High School Athletic Director sfrucci@nfsd.org

The Washington Officials Association told (KREM.com) that during the Connell game, the referees were shocked at what they saw, which is why they hesitated on making any major calls early on in the game. The article can be read here: http://www.krem.com/news/local/WIAA-s...

Connell basketball players acting like they're on the football field. The referees allowed these fouls to occur the entire game. Not a single technical, intentional/flagrant foul was ever called. The W.I.A.A. needs to take a closer look at this before a player suffers a serious injury. Each foul is replayed (in order) at different speeds multiple times for closer review. The video speaks for itself...

#1 is a standard foul, unless there's significant head contact off screen. #2 is barely a foul. #3 is a hard foul, but it looks worse than it is because the fouled player's feet slip *before* the contact. #4 is just a push, get over it. #5 is a dangerous, flagrant foul and should have resulted in an ejection. #6 is a pretty standard over-the-back and the kid falls because his legs get tangled with 30 in white. You have a point on #5, but the rest just discredit your case by crying wolf.

#2 he was out before the call. Wrong call.

#3 he was going for the block.
