@caldevera i think when you leave your country for an other, you can't help it be feel really lonely, homeseek and different. But once you meet some good people, friends or boyfriend whatever, you acclimate more easily. So, i don't think expats in korea are particularly sad, it's just being a expat is difficult.

Anyone have a good hagwon to recommend? I've been researching and it seems like it's hard to find reputable places to work

Korea rocks. I was in Deagu in 1974 and am getting homesick.

I have been here two weeks and am excited about all of the fun things there are to do in Korea. If you are even just considering coming here, I have one piece of advice....DO IT!!
