@caldevera i think when you leave your country for an other, you can't help it be feel really lonely, homeseek and different. But once you meet some good people, friends or boyfriend whatever, you acclimate more easily. So, i don't think expats in korea are particularly sad, it's just being a expat is difficult.
your video is really nice. but i think you're one of the lucky ones since i know a lot of other expats get really lonely there. it's nice to know you're having a great time there.
I have been here two weeks and am excited about all of the fun things there are to do in Korea. If you are even just considering coming here, I have one piece of advice....DO IT!!
