Man I love my cleaver.. great line knife but being a knife nut I still need my fix of knives. Why do EVERYTHING with a chinese cleaver when you could go the japanese way and get a yanagi, deba, petty, nakiri, usuba, unagi-kiri(forgot name), and gyuto?!

I would definately prefer a well sharpened 11" to that, but I'm sure you can power through a chicken pretty quick with that.

Is a Chinese vegetable cleaver . Made in china for sure.. Not bad.. Under $30 us .. That was my 1st when I start my career in Chinese cooking..
a real cooking knife got wear and tears and has been sharpen so many time all thats left is half the original width. throw out the box and start chopping my friend.

Wow ...you discovered the secret of Chinese cooking utensils like the wok and cleaver, you only need one of each to do all your cooking instead of "sets" like in western cooking, how is that for minimalist zen ?
