@static93breakers Thanks, but I tried it & I think the version of windows movie maker on my downgraded XP laptop won't do that. I've got AVS4YOU now & it does this, but amplifies the sound to be a bit staticy....

@wcdeich4 This is NIna Rippner on my new account-You have to cut the clip. Like what I did was mute the clip and then cut the part that the audio that I wanted, and then I would unmute that part. Does that make sense? If not send me a message or post on my channel and I can try and explain further.

@NinaRippner Hey, I tried that & Clip>Audio only had Mute, Fade In, Fade Out & Volume. I could mute the audio track for part video, but I couldn't find a way to 100% cut out the video sound in one spot & leave the video sound in some where else.

how did you cancel out the audio in some of the clips. and then in those two other clips you allowed them to talk. i can't get movie maker to do that.

When you go into Movie Maker, there's a button at the top that says 'Clip' if you click on that, it'll have a list of options and you click on 'Audio' And from there you can mute it or turn the volume up or down.
