I'm a vegetarian. I recognize that humans have been eating animals since our primate ancestors, it's only natural. Animals eat animals, it's all in the food chain. However, the reason that I'm a vegetarian is because the industrial farms and slaughter houses where the meat comes from is unnatural, and the animals are tortured brutally and live terrible lives just to get to our plates. Go inside a meat plant and watch what they do, it's unnatural. Hunting should be how we get meat, not factories.

@wisebbq1 The cheese isn't meat either. But they're still animal products, and so a vegan wouldn't eat that still. Though I'm pretty sure what's called a lacto-vegetarian would still eat the cheese.

Vegetarianism is morally wrong.

People, this argument for and against vegetarianism is ridiculous. Humans evolved from an omnivorous primate species (being omnivorous means we eat both vegetables AND meat). Humans have been killing and consuming animals for food for thousands of years before you were born, and its not going to change because of you or anyone else. Sorry if reading this makes you cry for the poor animals, but thats just the way nature works. Get over it.
