also having a hard time using... CUAL,COMO and Cuando....sometimes CUANDO means CUAL?.. COMO sometimes HOW and Que or The? also Lo que and Se... im having a hard time..please teach on how to use those kind of words

if you were to say "Christmas is during the winter season" would it be "La Navidad es en el invierno" or would it be "es en el invierno"?

They could both work. In the second one... it is impied (the verb tells us that we're talking about something)
So if someone asked you "¿Cuándo es la Navidad?" and you know you're talking about it... you could respond:
"Es en el invierno."
