Have you seen the video? After the cops show up, he does what they show him to do.He moves to the side, he's not picking up or throwing stuff any more, keeps his hands down. HE IS NOT A THREAT TO ANYBODY. Then cops assume positions around him and tase him for no reason. Then when he's down, Canada's bravest wait for his convulsions to slow down and pin him to the ground (and you are right even before cops attack he look like he was having heart attack, but details like this don't bother crmp) .

@cantreader11 It's called police discretion. You weren't there, you didn't talk to him. They felt he was a threat & they reacted the way they saw fit. I'm not saying it was the right thing to do, 1-2 tasers would have done the trick; but even after all the tasers had been applied he was still fighting them off. And as soon as the police saw that he was critical they took the necessary actions to try and help him. If they'd wanted to kill him they'd have used guns.

Wait so let me get this straight the police show up and the guy who is already amped up moves away. The police know that if they physically force him to the ground it may look like brutality so they taser him to incapacitate him first. Then they arrest him. What should the cops do in their position ? Just let the guy continue ? They have to stop him. Attempting to do so with a means that is generally accepted as non-lethal is the right thing to do.
