Shot with a GoProHD, the next video of braking showing a better view of my hands and the controls and what the hell is going on.

EDIT* I do run GP shifting 1 up 5 down, it does make blipping easier IMO.

  • Good vid. I've been doing some research on this and it certainly seems like upshifts can be done just fine without the clutch. Is it hard to do it smoothly when your really rolling on a lot of throttle? Right now I preload the shifter when I upshift but still use the clutch, I think I'm gonna try this though.

  • I can't find on YouTube some one had said that the front brakes should never be used with out the back brake the back and front should be apply evenly what a ass hole that person was I wish I can remember that site....

  • @4dread5 Wind noise

  • @Pittimus84 this was the answer i was looking for, thank you

  • @crackerstolemybike no it was not easy to get used too, took about 3 solid months before i quit trying to shift standard pattern. Just muscle memory, takes getting used too.

  • @Pittimus84 oh okay, but even so, was it easy to get the hang of the flipped gear shift? did you get used to it pretty quickly?
