many people sill don't get that is a ELECTRIC-hybrid car, and not just a gasoline-hybrid car. There is no copying there... no one has an electric-hybrid mass produced car on the market.... please read before posting bull... this is NEW tech...

mas produced? What are you talking about. Do you know how much this car will cost? Nobodies going to buy it. GM says that it is going to release this car in 2 yrs but only 10 000 of them. Also some experts say that we will most likely not see this car on the roads for a very long time if we will see it at all. GM might be coocking all this up and come up with a reason for not releasing it.

1st, please cite me those "experts"... they are speculating just like you are. 2nd, 10 000 cars for starters is not enough ?!?! Also what world do you live in ?... I know people who are even willing now (with this economy) to pay in advance. People who have money will buy it to relieve their conscience... probably that is the market GM will be targeting first. It is NEW tech, how can you even expect it to be 20 000 $ ? The price has to reflect the money poured into engineering, research etc

Yes they "copied" the civic front end and Prius back end
and called it a Volt

see GM is 12 years behind the hybrid arena and so they're just copying the japanese

Up against the wall they will continue to try and over price and gouge the customers
Bring in TATA motors and some Chinese companies
GM needs to be put down they owe too much money to be able to ever produce low cost cars
and as the economy tanks further the American people will realize what I am saying is right
and them dreaming about 40 thousand cars saving GM is crazy talk the Economy is about to fall off a cliff
they should be bringing out 10,000 dollar cars
Tata will do it if they can not
