Duchess of Sutherland, The Royal Scot, Crewe, 09/10/08

I arrived early at the station but the duchess had been moved early. so as i got on the platform it was coming into the station i tried to get tri pod up in time but failed so im afraid its a bit shaky cam. I was waiting for the 67 to fetch the royal scot carriages in but to my surprise 86259 Les ross turned up. That came off the duchess went on and left for carlisle. i had one of my subscribers come over and introduce himself so thanks for that and was nice to meet you. caught him hanging out of the carriage as it left. Went back later to get the duchess coming back just caught the 86 going through ready to to change over. saw subscriber again so had a laugh and a chat as i filmed the duchess taking water on. A long day but got quite a bit which is having to be split into 2 vids.

Excellent video Lou and on a Sunny day as well. The hand held shot was great you'll have to throw the tripod away..ha..ha..the lighting on the Duchess during the departure was superb..well done and 5*

Quite possibally one of the rare moments were the LMS Duchess meets its successor!

The lighting was very good as it gave a good shine on the loco! Marvelous one Lou your doing great! Im rating it 5*****
