ScionVIP Formula X @ NJ Motorsports Park - Thunderbolt Raceway. 9/14/08
ScionVIP Hosted a Scion event at Formula X at the NJ Motorsports Park. Skip Barber driving school instructors taught a class on road course driving and then took us out to the track. Using the Scion Owner's Cars, they drove in the lead car, with 4 other cars trailing. The trailing drivers were to keep up with the lead car and follow the same lines. Unfortunately the runs weren't THAT fast (I wanted to go faster!).

Why did they limit you to such a slow speed especially with helmets on.

Unfortunately that was what the Skip Barber drivers were doing. It was mainly a day for training the new drivers who have not ran a road course before. I personally have some experience and would have loved to been able to run all-out. Oh well - it was still fun and the track was great!
