@RobbieBarnby At the simplest level, the only difference between the two is cosmetic, though the 900 series tends to have higher quality wood than the 800, not that the 800's is poor by ANY stretch of the imagination. If you think the bling is worth $1000 go 914 but otherwise I'd go 814. As for the inlays, the 914s are all over the place.

@sircam6 Dave primariliy plays a Rockbridge, uses one Martin, and two Taylors, the 714 and 914.

nice vid :) whats better to get? the 814ce or the 914ce? whats the difference? thanks and also i though the taylor 914ce had like a flower design over around the 12 fret but i see some without like this one why is that??
