@8698gil Umm. Humans are, by basic definition, animals.As a consequence, any conduct by a human is conduct done by an animals. Humans, by following these basic concepts, ALWAYS act like animals, no matter what they may do. And if you bother to do any serious research on general animal behavior beyond what human animals do, you'll find that other animals do, in fact, do the very things you implied that they didn't do. Such compartmentalized thinking destroys your argument.

I think the problem theists have around morals for atheists is one of Moral Semantics and Moral Ontology. The ontology being "morals come from god" and semantics being "morals are the commandments of god". So, if you take god out of the equation, all you have is "morals come from -nothing-" and "morals are commanded by -no one-". Without god in these equations, it is not possible for atheists to have morals.

Personally, I don't claim to have morals. I live by a code of honor, ethics and law.
