@archicadmonkey this is a great toturial, straight to the point. i have a question unrelated, how do i get archiCad ''forever'' like an application and not having to renew the trail or anything like that, just installed and use it without any complex settings. i cant just renew the trail like anyone would do online, since i aint got a creditcard being a 17 year old, is there any hardcopy version i can buy off a shop? id be pleased if you could help me out. thanks a lot.

I dont understand why it change the grood floor too when i modifiy the story 1 ... i click on show as trace reference ... can you help me please ? thanks !

@elisoue you may have increased the wall size higher than the general floor height, which means you're actually editing the wall underneath. could you send a couple of screenshots of your problem to archicadmonkey [at] gmail . com?

It is so hard.. Some part's doesn't work for me.. I can't do anything with that wand thingie..

Hello. Does anyone know how to make wall like trapezium....like one side of wall is higher from other side?.... Does anyone understand me :D

@TheZinderella hi, i think you'll want to try using the Solid Element Operations from the Design menu, with a roof (on a hidden layer) subtracting from the wall structure . the roof as the operator, wall as target, and "subtract with upward extrusion"
