This is my current chest and back routine. The whole workout takes about 45 minutes to an hour. I split it up into 2 main power exercises, then 2 super sets. At the end, the entire range of the chest and the full muscle complex of the back will be be completely fatigued. I do this twice a week for a period of 3 months, then switch it up! So I hope you enjoy. Leave a comment to let me know what you think!

  • Thank you for explaining everything. My husband and I are going to do this tomorrow. We just joined the gym and are excited to try your routine out.

  • @Emmie2615 right on! how'd you like it?

  • Matt, check out the guys in the background of your vid from 4.22- 5.52. They go out of shot for a bit but keep watching as they make an amusing return...one in all black, the other in red bermuda shorts. On the phone, aimlessly walking around...classic.

  • what the name of the song?

  • @ctobar01 - Deftones bro

  • you remind me a lot of myself 12 years ago...i did a similar routine where my workout in gym was more intellectual, phliosophical and spirtual...i was doing a lot of bruce lee reading and combining that with fitness training that was not ego lifting with heavy weight but more of a fat loss concentration routine that after a year got me in the best shape of my life. Gains in muscle mass just all of a sudden came naturally and i had a six pack too.

  • 4:24 it's way better with dumbbells on a bench :)

  • @chakrapoint - absolutely! best bodyweight chest routines are going to be with your feet propped up higher than your shoulders. Also, using various hand and wrist positions, different distances/angles. To get stronger chest fiber using bodyweight, explode up on the pushing part, then down very slowly, and repeat. This will exhaust your muscle much quicker. Do one arm pushups, do flies by usnig cardboard under each hand on tile floor, arms all the way out to the side, and slide inward. :)

  • is it possible to do a "ultimate chest routine" for bodyweight exercises? is it even possible to build a standard chest using bodyweight exercises?
