There is a game called Typhon 2001, its a reboot of Tempest 2000, same music and everything, ampt up graphix alot (Better) like this.

I realize this is the age of distractions, but how do you know what the hell you are shooting at with all those numbers and words flashing in the way of where the enemies come from? The background effects can be turned off you say? I wonder can you record that and show us? Nuon is not available any more right? unless we find a used one?

Wow, this game gives me goosebumps, reminds me of some crazy rave nights. Actually it reminds me of playing this for old school PS1. Hell yeah! I remember having Tempest X, Robotron X and Nitrous Oxide for Playstation 1. Should have never traded / sold / lost those games. Thanks for taking my mind back to this trip. I got Tempest downloaded from Xbox live, but it's not as fantastic as what you're playing here, and disappointing overall. Gonna have to go to GameStop and find these.
