hijab has been Hijacked by both Muslim MEN(who mix culture, misogynistic attitudes and excessive policing of virginity and honor/ while boys play around perfect ) and Westerners who plainly-hate islam

hijab is womens choice nowdays clerics are saying u should beat girls if they dont wear it , just like you would do if she didnt pray!

Hijab is not a woman's choice. It is more of a public concern and public rights. Islam provides a platform of dignity and proper social behavior. What defines a good society when people are allowed to roam the streets half naked?

On the other hand the one who does not pray is harming himself only. Women who do not wear proper attire including hijab are causing public harm.

Simply because Allah has told them to do so:

"O Prophet tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw there outer garments around them ( when they go out and are among men ). That is better in order that they be known ( to be muslims ) and are not annoyed..."(Quran 33"59)
