It's a fine voice but why does he as most singers these days slough over the passing notes as if they were not in the score.

I first heard his astonishing "Je crois Entendre encore" with the most incredible, delicate phrasing.........and yet he can just as thrilling in something as opposite....His Rossini Otello also very impressive..........
