  • OMG, the singer is Jacob from "Lost" and the bassist is Rosie O'Donnell!! This is like a super-band!

  • @butch93105 can you please post a video of yourself playing a "tuned" guitar, just for perspective. I have been going to their shows since 1993 and have apparantly been listening to out of tune music that kicks total ass. Either that, or just cop to the fact that you are not nearly as talented as Tim or Greg and shut the fuck up. Either way...

  • Hacks.............. ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

  • oh and the bassist looks like a grown up version of the young man singing a naughty song to his parents in Tenacious D

  • well now that we have established that butch is a tool lets get back to listening to these awesome dudes! I just picked up Pacific Dust off I-tunes today, I love it!

  • @butch93105 true man, but hey rock n roll ..it happens

  • @butch93105 would you say the same thingg about the who or zep or black Sabbath or 10 years after or canned heat or blue cheer-those musicians are like jazz cats. Besides the Hips write fantastic deep tunes and the melody evolves, and Greg is a great guitarist as is Blum who is the only person who can play tasty notes without proper blues method. You obviously do not play

  • YES!!

Prescott has it right! Fuckin stoners!

  • YES!!

  • @butch93105 Also, take a look at who has jumped on stage with these guys... Why would Al Jardine, Bob Weir, Wilco, Johnny Cash, Bill Kreutzmannand, Mickey Hart and many more want to play with a bunch of slouches? I'll add; if you hate where you work, please quit your job and do something you like, you'll be less grumpy.

  • @butch93105 Yeah, they know nothing of harmony. Have you taken a good look at what this band has done both acoustically and as a rock act; not to mention the side stuff Bluhm has produced? There is some really amazing work out there. I’ve been to about 60 Hips shows since 1996 and I’ve only smoked pot at one show and that was my second show back in 1996. I prefer a good single malt anyway. ;-)

  • rprescot071 I'm sick and tired of self indulgent, self absorbed potheads and thier zoned out fans living in the pretense that music is something any bozo can do with some weed and a guitar. You're the same as the lazy idiots I have to work with everyday and the state of denial is nothing short of hilarious.
