(For your information, wrath (the fanciful biblical name for anger)) is one of the lowest, most demeaning and least attractive of human traits. And the fact that your "god" has it in spades is an utterly fair indication that he was invented by people (and not very nice, or intelligent people at that!)

@StrumstickJoe That command means to not kill literally. But it means to not be angry with your brother. Matthew 5:21 explains it clearly by saying that murder begins in the heart. If you are angry at your brother you will be subject to judgment. He isnt a genocidal tyrant because he loves us and cares for us. And Christianity isn't a religion but a lifestyle. I am young so I am not clear about everything in the Bible BUT I learn daily. The bible is filled with metaphors that we dont understand.

It doesn't mean "thou shalt not kill at all" - because if it meant that, then lots of the bible would have to be trashed - or at least ignored. (That's known as cherry picking)
