  • @StrumstickJoe You have no proof that he was made ffrom people. I know the truth. JP knows the truth as well. You are lost in this nonsense your speaking of

  • "rescued from the clutches of the just and holy wrath of god because of our sin"

Does this man listen to the claptrap he talks?

(For your information, wrath (the fanciful biblical name for anger)) is one of the lowest, most demeaning and least attractive of human traits. And the fact that your "god" has it in spades is an utterly fair indication that he was invented by people (and not very nice, or intelligent people at that!)

    So let's move on, eh?

  • @LightShinesOnUs You would be able to say something if there was anything you could say to excuse (or explain) the obvious falsity, stupidity and immorality of what you and JP believe.

The fact is, there is nothing sane or reasonable about the bible and all the million interpretations of it that expert charlatans like piper spout.

You are being taken for a ride. There is no god.

  • @StrumstickJoe Ok if thats what you think then i cant say anything

  • @LightShinesOnUs Let us then pray: Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure EVERY CASE OF CANCER on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray that you cure them all, Amen.

It won't work for me, of course, but you have a go.

Let me know if it works

  • @LightShinesOnUs Excuses! Mealy-mouthed Mitigation!

Pick and choose what you want; take what you need; ignore what doesn't suit.

    Matthew 5:16

16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 6:1 1 “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven..

    Trash!

Christianity as a life-style would be immoral and deadly.

  • @StrumstickJoe That command means to not kill literally. But it means to not be angry with your brother. Matthew 5:21 explains it clearly by saying that murder begins in the heart. If you are angry at your brother you will be subject to judgment. He isnt a genocidal tyrant because he loves us and cares for us. And Christianity isn't a religion but a lifestyle. I am young so I am not clear about everything in the Bible BUT I learn daily. The bible is filled with metaphors that we dont understand.

  • @LightShinesOnUs Obviously I've got it wrong, by your implication.

It doesn't mean "thou shalt not kill at all" - because if it meant that, then lots of the bible would have to be trashed - or at least ignored. (That's known as cherry picking)

Your god is a vindictive, malicious genocidal tyrant who watches us 24/7 - and after our death as well, demanding grovelling worship.

All because that birch ate an apple!

    Come off it!

If you believe it you're either a cynical hypocrite or duped.

  • @StrumstickJoe do you know what the 6th commandment actually means?

  • @EverydayRevival A) Bible Contradictions are multitude. Here is one of the easiest ones:

6th Commandment: Thou shalt not kill

And among the thousands of incitements to kill therein…

    Isaiah 13

15 Whoever is found will be thrust through, and whoever is caught will fall by the sword.

16 Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be..
