@manconoo sure sounds like a wet dream, but only if DeNiro could match Day-Lewis, I mean De Niro needs to channel the kind of intergrity he had back in the 70's. He recent work is not befitting of one of the world's greatest. these rom-coms lately are just sad, even sadder when it's his performance that saves them from a complete panning! and his role in machete wtf just a charicature. a senator with twin glocks, oh the humanity!

@losMarketGarden But wouldn't it be a wet dream to have to of the finest actors of our generation in the same movie.? De Niro and Day Lewis sparring off each other would be perhaps he greatest thing to happen to cinema in decades.

@losMarketGarden Hugo Cabret doesn't appeal to me but you never know. I hear he is going to do another mobster movie -The Irishman" about the life of Jimmy Hoffa's assassin.De Niro will take the lead and rumor has it that Day Lewis could also play a leading role. That would truly be awesome.

@headradioak And that would be the kick in the butt to inspire him to get back to his very best movies. G.O.N.Y, The Departed,Shutter Island all fantastic movies that any director would be proud but I want him back to the way i know he can direct i.e Goodfellas,taxi,K.O.C etc etc.
