A single-digit countdown timer. Less exciting than my last project, but this involve more work on circuits and programming. In the centre is a common cathode (CC) 7-segment LED, and the black chip is a shift-out register that helps process the data stream sent from Arduino and send out HIGH to correct pins (Side closer to the bottom).
In the Wiring code I have to figure out which LED should be led to print out a number. Then the bit value is sent to the register chip with shiftOut() function.
I should have built 2-digit, but the breadboard is crowded and I'll have to wait till next week to get another one.
