The nation our founders created was truly "progressive". The freedom, prosperity, and rate of innovation was unlike anything that ever existed in the entire history of humanity. @MoparBrion Outdated lifestyle? Well, it's your belief that society should be run by the Church, or possibly that the federal government should have less control? They did that before, you know- in the Dark Ages. Made Stalin look like a harmless little kitten with what they did.

...I'm not following your logic here. You want the government to give you freedom so you can just give it up to your religion? Also, your freedom has never been taken away. No one's has, even in North Korea.

I haven't been spoon-fed any propaganda, I've lived long enough to make mistakes... and learn from them. And I'm curious as to what; in your mind; an "outdated lifestyle" is. Is it being responsible and accountable for one's actions? Is it appreciating Freedom? Could it possibly be believing in God?
