Proving once again that Brown's objection to marriage equality is nothing more than animus against decent gay and lesbian people. Every person asked the question "how does marriage equality for gays and lesbians negatively impact "your" marriage" can never provide a rational reason. Ever.

There truly is NO logical reason to prevent gays and lesbians from getting married.

When will NOM listen to themselves? They are yet to present ONE thread of evidence that gay marriage threatens or damages heterosexual marriage. They can only bring in unrelated variable to SCARE people into agreeing with them. It is in the BEST interest of the child to be taught to RESPECT gay/marriage! What sense is it for the State to pass laws in support of gays, while at the same time kids are raised to hold anti-gay opinions? That is only setting up the child to serve time in Prison.

The guy defending traditional marriage is giving a pretty weak argument. I oppose same-sex "marriage" because marriage is the fundamental institution in which society functions. Both genders have characteristics that are unique to their own and each contribute these to their child or children. How does same-sex marriage threaten my marriage? You are telling my children that the two genders are interchangeable, that they are not unique that a boy can marry a boy and a girl can marry a girl.

@equalityamerica Civil marriage was redefined by No fault divorce laws. What happened to love and commitment when 80% of divorces are forced divorces and one spouse tried to keep the family together when the other one just walk away. No fault divorces promots child and spouse abandonment.

@equalityamerica please explain how selling one's body parts / fluids constitutes slavery exactly. Theft of a body part is already covered under theft. And explain please how gay marriage is affecting your well being, mind you not religiously, but physically, is it putting your life at risk? As far as 'legalization' of homosexuality... should we also reconsider the legalization of divorce? Reinstate the concept that women are property? These are religious beliefs forced into public law... ugh
