listening to the like of the international staff band always helped me...especialy with my favourites ..like the suite ON THE ROAD...not in the army now...my sister and brother in law still are but i still love the army brassed band music..still brings back alot of memories :-)
yeah well done...prob nervous (as i was when i played it :-) ) but a couple of tips..don't move around as much and project your/self/cornet towards audience...and if available listen to an origonal soundtrack...close your eye's and imagine it's you playing...you will find your self gong through the fingering and can listen to the timing...i promise it helps
This performance of "Someone cares" really helped to create the atmosphere within the concert that this wasn't just good music, well presented...but was also a message for us all.

i remember playing that solo when i was about 13/14 at gateshead citadel but was only accompnied by piano as our band was very small
