Secret and Whisper - XOXOXO Guitar Cover

Secret and Whisper are such a great post-hardcore band, and its a massive disappointment that they haven't made it big time, as I think they are just as good as big PH bands such as Saosin. Whilst Teenage Fantasy was a good album, I personally liked Great White Whale a lot more, with this song being the single from that album. I'm quite happy with the way it came out, as I figured out a large portion of the song by ear.

Techniques/Tips:
- The intro riff is played by picking the higher D in between the fretted notes.
- The post verse is probably the hardest part in the song, as it has a sort of strange rhythm part, followed by octaves that dont seem to fall in the middle of the 4 bar riff.
- In the high tremelo sections, but on a bit of delay to stretch out the notes

Dude, how do you record the audio really clean? And how do you sync your audio and video? I'd love to learn and I wanna try out posting videos with HIGH SOUND QUALITY. :) Thanks

@vietnowrenegades I use a PODx3, which is basically a multieffects unit and amp simulator which plugs straight into the computer. Because of this, I don't have to use the microphones on the cameras, which would give heaps of background noise and equalizing issues. I record the audio in audacity, export as an MP3, and then all the syncing with video is done using a program called Sony Vegas. Its time consuming, but gives a much better result than just uploading the bad audio from a camera.

Umm since I finished school, so about 3 years now. I dont think time playing really dictates how good someone is, as I believe I'm only marginally better as a guitarist than I was 2 years ago. Most of the progression I made was in the first 3 months.

However I do think in the last year or so, I have made attempts to understand my equipment more, which has made it easier to play certain songs.
