http://www.DadLabs.com - The summer season often brings with it overwhelming heat. Nurse Mark returns to The Lab to give us a few tips on how to help kids avoid heat related injuries. Learn the differences between heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke. We'll also tell you at what point you should take your child to the hospital. Learn which beverages and sports drinks help prevent dehydration in children, and how to recognize if you kid is dehydrated. A very useful resource for parents. DadLabs ep. 40 The Lab.

  • Thank so much for watching. We really appreciate the feedback, esp from moms!

  • My husband is a member on the DadLabs site and he is always telling "Come watch this video!" I enjoy you fellas, if not as much as my husband, more than him. Even as a mom I find myself learning a lot from you guys.

Anyway, I never thought about Pedialyte as opposed to Gatorade for replacing electrolytes, and neither did my husband, and he's a pharmacist! HA HA! I really love that tip!
