@Motorfordtoyota Goss got taken for a ride! LOL! One reason hydrogen or Brown's gas works is because Hydrogen has a very fast burn rate. This helps ignite the fuel in the cylinder sooner than it normally would. Hence better fuel economy! Your dad's friend is right, this guy is a sell out and a stupid one at that! I designed the F22 and F35 while in high school and wrote a few movies while in elementary school ect.

@CookJunkie common sense, good to see people still have it.

Best way to keep your gas mileage in check? Do preventive maintenance! The best thing you can do to keep your car in top shape for better gas mileage.

The hyrdrogen thing works. My dad has a friend who does it to his Dodge Dakota (he is a professor at Georgia Tech) and he originally got 19 mpg and he now gets 31 with the same driving style and conditions!

The hydrogen generator you had would and can work if the computer sees combustion gases are rich. The computer tries to lean the condition out, THEREFORE less fuel is used. The hydrogen gas doesn't replace all of the fuel, just a small amount of it, thus fuel economy and gas mileage is increased. However most cars will need tuning or an O2 simulator. Ive seen it done before and Ive seen the results on live scan-tool data-stream, it can work if done correctly.

the bets thing that increased MPG was Marvel Mystery oil
in the gas.

I just love how there are so many stupid people who buy this shit! saw a great one on ebay claiming to increase mpg by up to 15% just by attatching to battery - also said warrenty void if dissasembled! - well it would be! wouldnt want people to see nothing inside would you! Legal though, as zero % increase is "up to 15%" !!!

It isn't doable, that's for sure, but you're not getting the concept behind it.
The idea is to make the car run very lean and use the highly reactive HHO gas to ignite all the gas.
The reason it isn't doable is because it requires modifying the emissions sensor, which is illegal. So even if it did work, it wouldn't be legal.
Numerous tests were done, lot of people claim it works, popular mechanics (accurately) found it doesn't. I just think it'd be interesting to demonstrate why it doesn't.

He said it would take 45,000 gallons of hydrogen for 15 gallons of gas I am assuming at atmospheric presssure. That is 3000 gallons to one gallon of gas. Now you can't make something from nothing water is H2O so lets say you get 2/3's of a gallon of hydrogen out of a gallon of water that gives you .00025 gallons of gas worth of energy out of a gallon of water and that is assuming free energy on the conversion. It is way easier avoid jackrabbit starts and stops.
Yes, it's amazing how gullible people are.
