That poor sax...well, Richard Elliot is one of the best...there's also Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, and Boney James. There are other players who are less popular as well!

I love watching him play because can tell he does it with everything that he has. And I have to agree with the previous comment the zebra sax is sooo HOT!!!

he's GREAT, has got GREAT personality, a GREAT saxophone, he looks great himself, has got a GREAT full sexy tenor soul music sound, but i dont really think, that hes "the best saxophonist" on earth. related to what? just saying "he's the best" isnt really possible. there are guys, whose sound i like but i dont like the phrasing, etc. so what do you mean?

Richard Elliot is an incredibly talented man! I had the opportunity to see him at the JVC Jazz Fest In Chicago in 2006...I too, love that zebra sax....but more than that, I believe Richard is the best sax player on earth...

'best on earth' - that's a pretty tall stmnt :-) - I am a huge sax fan and there are quite a few really awesome sax men! I will say that Richard is probably the top in passionate playing! I really **feel** the emotion in his music when he plays, more than the others that I listen too! and that zebra stripe sax is the BOMB!! Thanks again! Peace!
