Angel Romero with the George Shearing Trio

Something nice (and unexpected) from the video collection - a mix of classical chamber music with light jazz. Worth a watch (and listen).

This is from the early 1980s - but I'd have to go back to the original (fragile) tape for more details.

I guarantee you all that is not ray brown on bass. I don't recall his name but he is the bassist who originally performed when they made the laser disc. Don.t know if ray brown played the bass on the cd but this video is from the laser disc. Ray brown happens to be black and is most likely the best jazz bass player ever. This bassist is quite good but he is not ray.
