yes 2 of the three mentioned make thermite but it needs magnesium burning white hot to start the exothermic reaction and must be mixed in the proper ratios for it to work. Adding silica to the mix would hinder the ability of the aluminum to react with the iron oxide and possibly prevent it form taking place at all, nor would it be possible for sunlight to set it off unless it were magnified to produce a heat of roughly 2 to 3 thousand degrees.
