Some dude whose last name was Petrosian and was from Armenia said "If Tigran Petrosian (also an Armenian) wins the World Chess Championship, I'm naming my son after him." Sure enough, the older Tigran Petrosian won the World Chess Championship, so that man named his son after older Tigran.

omg you people are idiots. There are two Tigran Petrosians. Theirs Tigran Vartanovich Petrosian, and he died a long time ago. And theres this Tigran Petrosian.
