crazy idea playing monk on a resonator. cool !!

Very pleasantly funky. You had one variation in there about a third of the way through; more would be nice. But cool. Thanks.

p.s. I don't mean to be condescending, you may already know all that. E.D. also appears w/Kansas City Six:(Lester Young, Freddy Green etc). Great eccentric, impressionistic guitar style.

Hi my friend
this tune is really a very difficult choice! Your arrangment is interesting but maybe you could work a bit more on it to play with more relax and to be very sure on the time. remember also that it is based on a 32 mesure form, it seems to me that you miss play the last 8 bars. Anyway it's nice job and I think that to work on this kind of composition on acoustic string instruments is great chance to find new ideas and new solution::
Keep picking

You're onto something- it sounds good and tonally appropriate. Maybe historically appropriate as well. Eddie Durham was a musical mentor to both Thelonious and Charlie Christian. E.D. played guitar and experimented with resonators,(pre- amp era). Check out his work w/ Jimmy Lunceford.

this is a pretty rough sketch I did it in one take and I didn't practice first, and so I will try to make another. I think youre refering to the verse length the structure is as follows:
verse D7/Eb7 8bars + E7/F7 16bars + D7/Eb7 8bars = 32bars.
chorus gminor6 8bars + C7 4bars + D7 2bars + Eb7 2bars = 16bars.
I would appreciate if you clarified what you mean about "last 8 bars"
