Affairs of the Heart Interview (Richard & Daniela)

Thank you ITV for this interview! This interview is from a piece called "The Story of the Costume Dramas" Affairs of the Heart. This is a recent interview with Richard Armitage and Daniela Denby-Ashe talking about filming North & South made by the BBC. I wish they had put something like this on DVD, but I am glad they did this recently! *sigh*

Sorry the copy isn't that great but it was the best I could do! Just wanted to share it with you Richard/North & South fans like me! LOL

@ActingFireAqua Yeah,,why don't we sign a petition saying that they have to be on some more movies together as a couple,,,maybe some romantic drama? Is there any movie that based on Nicholas Spark's novel that none of the lead roles end up dead? :) Love them together,,quite the opposite I think. Richard is quite conservative,,since he wears black all the time Lol,,,,and Daniela is just a sanguine girl,,I think,,from what I see

Richard Armitage ist der beste Schauspieler, den ich je gesehen, habe. North & South ist einfach wundervoll. Und seine Stimme - was für ein Mann. Der könnte mir sogar die Speisekarte eines Restaurant´s vorlesen - und ich wäre hin und weg. Danke für dieses Video,

Yes I knew that Mr. Phipps composed the "ALL" the music for the series, but like many a composer throughout history, he may have 'borrowed' a theme from elsewhere, and in this case it was recognizable. In earlier posts, others had compared the music to Vivaldi ("Winter" adagio) but I knew it actually was much closer to Part's "Spiegel im Spiegel". And others agreed with me. Either way, it works perfectly for the scene and I actually adore the original score & await a CD release?

I am same as DrLotus, after Stephens version's Jane eyre (I watched it 100 times) this is also great, Sandy Welch wrote both screenplays. Richard is spot on Thornton and Margret !!! Daniella is so beautiful, her expressions of the face, etc, she is great too.

The best romantic drama of all time!!! Replaced Pride and Prejudice (Firth/Ehle version) and Jane Eyre (Stephens/Wilson version) as soon as I saw this one. I have watched it over and over and over.  Richard Armitage is amazing!
