Hide And Seek - Imogen Heap Cover

In light of the upcoming release of Imogen Heap's new album, "Ellipse" due out on Aug. 24 in the UK, and Aug 25 everywhere else, I thought it would be nice to do another cover! Today I bring you Hide And Seek, and I'm sure I'll following it up with even more Imogen Heap covers in the future, as I am totally and irreversibly in love with her music.

This is one of two films I did on July 31st. The vocals were all recorded a cappella in one take. I sing the highest note you hear, with the exception of the high notes in the second chorus. Those notes are, without any shame on my part, completely pitch corrected. (Just look at my face: I could never be that calm hitting notes so clearly out of my range!)

The harmonies were created very tediously over a 5 hour period by doubling the tracks 4 times over and pitch correcting them with Melodyne software.
