Hey man, Im having a little trouble with this..

So I knw ur running mame32, and I know you need both the ROMs and the .CHD files to run this, but when you get the .CHD files, where the heck do you put them so the ROMs can see them?

if the rom says beatmania make a folder and put the chd file in the folder. put where the roms go.

i think you might need to unlock the songs

check the dipswitches or something..

is it the entire game and how did u get it like the zip file... ? how big is the zip file u got for bm5?

i dont think its the whole game im still missing songs like moment and a few others...

May I ask you some questions,please?(BM Final)

Did you used some special kinds of configs on the game?

(DIP switches are defaults,and so do other settings.)

Where did you get the CHD file?Mine got 2971451KB.

(Just the KB,as you can't provide me the actual link of it.)

I used tons of MAME versions,no matter the DOS one,or GUI ones,they all don't work.

I put the game&MAME in my flash drive.(USB thumb drive)

Windows 7

@hateWinVista I have my mame install on an external hard drive - today, in between college courses, I plugged my external hard drive into a public access computer [pretty fast too, processor], didn't update it from the last time I used the Windows install, so it's a little bit dated. I chose Twinbee, and it worked - in fact not once did my game give me the HDD Error.

If that isn't the definition of "fucking weird," I don't know what is.

I have that problem,too.(BMIII THE FINAL,BM THE FINAL and some other songs.)

It's pissing me off...

"E730 HDD Error"

Anybody who has BM The Final and runs it in MAME, why is it that the game crashes with a HDD ERROR every time I choose beatmania III songs [like Twinbee ~Generation X~]?

i have the chd and the rom, and i placed the chd inside the rom and it still dont gets it, any help????
