  • Most Pros don't know how to train properly, they rely too much on steroids. A natural guy would overtrain/and or hurt him self by throwing weights around. Take away the massive amount of substance abuse and they'll just be like the rest of us gym rats.

  • Branch is an outstanding hard working trainer, I cannot fault the intensity of his efforts. He is not genetically gifted, however he is a blue collar hard and tough trainer who has made the most of what genetics he does have. I take my hat off to him!

  • his bicep genetics are not so great. and perhaps his choice of bicep exercises are also not so great. looks like hes not getting much full ROM on any of them. kind of looks like the muscle is not even being worked...really odd. anyone else notice this?

  • @laurenssius I've train both ways,been training for 20 years or more.It's always easier when I cheat,I can use a lot more weight.It's always harder when you take momentum out of the lift.Try using a full range of motion without any momentum and feel how hard it gets.

  • @Hammer48able No, cheating (what the pro's do) is a very difficult form of training. They swing the weight up to bring momemtum in the game, but they still use the muscle they are working with. Try doing it with side raises or something like that, swing the weight up, but keep tension of the shoulders. It's very hard and not that healthy but works great!

  • @laurenssius Cheating makes it easier or they wouldn't do it!!! Cheating to get the last few reps is one thing,but cheating on all reps?????

  • @MrAssassinful I'm hardly a beginner!! I'm 48 and been working out off and on for many years,despite a bad back I still hit it pretty hard.

  • @Econ1260MetZRoberto When i tried working out like they do,I could use more weight and get more reps too.Most all the pros use loose form from what I've seen.Dorian Yates was the only one I seen doing really full reps,maybe that's why he won 6 titles! I still pull for Branch,he's one of my favorites.Can't wait to see him in action again,hated he got injured.Wish he would work on his forearms!
