  • are you a catholic? if you are a catholic, then please tell me what the vatican think of reincarnation.... thanks for the help.

  • @dcupid7

    I am not a Catholic.

  • Yes, I have felt so strongly about being a monk that I am a monastic. I live a monastic lifestyle.I am a woman but I feel the call to be a monk.

  • I am glad you are following the call of your soul. Do you have a spiritual community? That is quite important for most of us.

  • Sorry - I was not very specific. I have also felt that I was a monastic in a prior life, and that is why I was excited about your talk. Thanks.

  • Do you feel like you had a good experience as a monastic before?

  • @Theosis3131 Belief in reincarnation was known even in Christ's day. Matthew 16 "He asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is? They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." Since the abovementioned were already dead, it is apparent that some people thought Jesus was a reincarnated spirit.

  • Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.

    HEBREWS, chapter 9 verse 27

  • "No matter how I am judged by feeble minds, my faith is as steadfast as the core of the earth."

  • wow so strange, i have been struggeling with my desire to become a nun even though i am not Catholic and i am engaged to a man i love. i feel so drawn and a deep desire and longing for it.

  • what christian denomination are you?
