Because of the camera angle, it is hard to see the different angles of the pastern when it is in the two different positions.
You can clearly see the fetlock "pop" into a different position....
It should be noted that this does not cause the horse any lameness, in fact except for cleaning out the hoof, you don't really notice it at all...
I have noticed it on the horse since I got him at 7 mos old...so it is not something that has just happened, or something starting up....I was lucky enough to have the camera on, and remember to ask the ferrier in the same visit...I am glad he took the time to look at it more closely...but unfortunitly, he hadn't seen that before...When checked and manipulated by the vet, nothing was found to be abnormal...
When he moves about on his own, I don't see it being a problem to him or a need for concern, it just bugs me, and I would like to make it more comfortable for him to clean that foot out...and make it easier for the ferrier, as it does seem to cause him some discomfort when the fetlock is manipulated...
