Police escort in Pakistan

We rode our motorcycle through Pakistan on our journey from London to New Zealand and were given an escort through areas the police deemed unsafe due to bandits.
Police would try to run other vehicles off the road, but might is right and the truck is king....

There are less traffic accidents in Pakistan than western countries, because pakistanis do not drink alcohol. I have been to several european countries and inspite of very well organized roads, traffic signals, clearly stated information signs, the rate of accidents is very high, sometimes killing hundreds in a day (especially in national holidays). I have seen so many accidents with my own eyes during my stay.
