The Sinfonia Rotterdam - conducted by the South-African conductor Conrad van Alphen - is a dynamic orchestra that consists of 27 young professional musicians (21 strings and 6 wood winds).

The group was founded in 2000 regularly performs in major concert halls such as Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, De Doelen in Rotterdam and the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Antwerp, as well as in many other national and international venues. The orchestra has their own concert series (Klassiek & Wijn) in Rotterdam.
