Theme searching for a picture by Felix Slatkin from 1962, and played on a 1954 Seeburg model R jukebox from the original Liberty 45 rpm audition record. This Seeburg is the only model that had a 5 way speaker system 2-12"woofers 5" tweeter, and two side firing 8"mid-range. Since it sits in a corner the side speakers project the sound off the walls back into the room, which makes it have a more room filling sound.

  • What a great 45rpm! I love them music too. His arrangements remind me vaguely of Bert Kaempfert... don't know why. Very enjoyable, the 'Burg sounds GREAT

  • What a beautiful jukebox!! Sounds great!! Nice record..

  • It would be kinda ironic to wire the Seeburg to patch an ipod into it, sixty years ago vs six years ago. Many of the old Jikes had that special sound to them. '54 was BEFORE the advent of STEREO. Glad to see you post more juke vids = very nice.

  • That Seeburg is extremely beautiful! Its double sided tone-arm reminds me of the Seeburg 1000. What a gem!

  • sweet juke box sounds great
