Today Hiker and I joined our friend Linda for a hike in Eaton Canyon which is located in Altadena, CA. We had never hiked this area before and it was really a great hike. We did a total of 3 miles (in and out). There was a 40 ft. waterfall 1 1/2 miles into the canyon. This was more of a vigorous hike than we normally do, but it was well worth it when we saw that beautiful waterfall. I don't think I've ever seen Hiker more happy than when she was heading up that trail and crossing that stream. Her belly got so wet I had to giver he a bath when I got her home.
Awesome video! Hiker definetely looks like she's enjoying herself. The fall is closer to 60ft actually, I've rappelled it several times and measured the amount of rope used. I am so glad to see a recent video of Eaton, I've been wondering how the flow was affected by the recent rains as I have canyoneering trips planned for both this Saturday & Sunday. Thanks for uploading!
