Whether man determines being gay is a "defect" or not, nature has many ways of genetically "pruning" for the health of any species as a whole. I strongly suspect that this is one of them. Wow, it looks like Fischer is actually coming around. He use to say that being gay was a choice but know he is conceding that it has a genetic component. I'm not sure wether to celebrate this step forward or knock him for his two steps back concerning the ridiculous "abnormality" and abortion claims.

A Catch 22 for republicans? Gay gene = abortion of gays and lesbians before they are born versus the hard stance of never having abortion be an option.
